To help delegates on Silicon Beach Training's PRINCE2 Training in Birmingham and Brighton, we're offering some useful exam tips:

1. Don't forget your photographic identification as you won't be admitted to the exam without it (you could even lose your entry fee). If you've married since you registered, take proof of this with you.

2. Read through the manual in detail: familiarity with it is key, so avoid just scanning it or reading it quickly. Take time to do this in advance if you are attending week-long PRINCE2 Practitioner training otherwise you may find the week stressful.

3. Study all aspects of Product Break Structure (PBS) and ensure your can read all the symbols.; failing to do this can lead to fewer marks and confusion when you need to create product flow diagrams.

4. Fill up your Practitioner manual with reminders and notes although you can't take in your own materials you can annotate this as much as you want.

5. Beware of the words "always" or "must" as PRINCE2 aims to teach you to avoid such clarity and simplicity these words may be included in the options for multiple-choice answers to trick you.

6. All questions are mutually exclusive so don't fall into the trap of thinking "well that was the answer last time, so it won't be again" that's not the case!

7. Common sense is not your friend! It is tempting to think "well realistically person X would know about this PRINCE2 aspect, so" but the PRINCE2 exam questions require precise application of the methodology.
